We wish to appoint a well–qualified, energetic and enthusiastic teacher to join the forward-thinking IT department.
We are committed to achieving the highest possible standards for our students. We strive to prepare them for all of the STEM opportunities that will be open to them in their future lives.
In KS4, we offer two courses chosen to meet the needs of our pupils; OCR Computer Science and OCR Cambridge National Creative iMedia. Computer Science (OCR) is also offered at Post-16 and teaching is shared with Wellsway School and IKB School (part of the Wellsway MAT). Alternatively, we also offer level 2 courses at Post-16 and deliver OCR CTEC ICT Level 2. In KS3, we cover a range of both ICT and Computer Science topics. In year 9, the cohort is split into specialist routes to help pupils become aware of the GCSE routes offered.
Applications are invited from a teacher who has a passion for IT as well as a commitment to classroom teaching of the highest possible standard.
