Curriculum Delivery, Quality Assurance
Hinde House Academy
Hinde House is a popular 2 - 16 school, located in north east Sheffield. We serve some 1300 children and young adults, many of whom come from challenging and disadvantaged backgrounds. Graded “Good” by Ofsted in our last inspection, we are part of the Brigantia Learning Trust which has a further four academies in the area, and has recently been awarded a contract to provide Alternative Provision Learning Services across Sheffield.
As a truly comprehensive Trust with a total commitment to equality, diversity and inclusivity, we value every student as an individual. Our approach enables us to ignite ambition, inspire passions and through innovative teaching, create leaders who are ready for a rapidly changing world. Our vision is simple - to change life chances and secure social mobility and justice for young people through a culture of care.
As pioneers of 2-19 education within Sheffield, we believe our offer truly sets us apart. Following a pupil’s learning journey from 2 years old to 16 allows us to positively support a child, having developed an in-depth knowledge of them as learners. From their passions and personalities to their learning styles and ambitions, everything is taken into account to ensure a smooth and seamless transition throughout all the phases of their academy life and beyond.
We are now looking for a talented leader with a creative mind and primary phase knowledge/experience to join a high-quality team and lead further pedagogy improvement to maximise the benefits of our all-through setting and further transform the experiences for our children and young adults.
We also know that the bedrock of any academy is the quality and stability of the staff team. Our staff are dedicated with a commitment to excellence alongside unwavering values. We care about their wellbeing and are committed to developing, retaining and promoting them.
We are determined to live the Trust mission of enhancing the life chances and social mobility of all children and young people from the wider Sheffield city region as well as those from areas our academies serve geographically. You may already have a track record as a successful Vice Principal or could be looking to step up to a role at this level. Above all, we are looking for someone who is excited by the values and the prospect of leading in a 2-16 setting. If this attracts you and you believe you can lead further success, then we would like to hear from you.
