We are seeking to appoint a positive and approachable full time Science Technician to join Liverpool Life Sciences UTC.
Providing support to the science teaching team and staff who are responsible for the delivery of laboratory science and healthcare simulations to students. Responsible for ensuring that an excellent service is provided to students and staff.
You will support the teaching team and effective utilisation of equipment available to students in the healthcare settings and innovation laboratories of the UTC.
You will possess a good level of technical knowledge including the ability to use and maintain a range of tools and equipment.
Duties will include the ordering of consumables, stock control, maintenance and monitoring of equipment and rooms. Maintaining a safe, learning environment is a key responsibility of the post.
This will be a varied, interesting and challenging role, which will require flexibility, and the ability to work independently as well as part of the team.
Liverpool Life Sciences UTC is the first 14-19 college in the UK that specialises in science, engineering and healthcare.
